On Nov. 20, 2008, Rev. Whipkey was sentenced to probation for in-the-buff exercising. "I'm a heavy man and wearing clothing while running makes me sweat profusely," Whipkey said, according to a police report, the Denver Post reported. "I know what I did was wrong." In August, the Archdiocese of Denver placed Whipkey on administrative leave.
