And this isn't even all of them.
Police say nine Amish men refused to put bright orange triangular signs on their carriages, as required by law, because of customs forbidding both bright colors and the use of the triangular shape for anything other than the Holy Trinity.
So they wore some reflective tape instead.
Apparently, that's not good enough -- and the men were arrested and ordered to pay a fine.
They also refused the fine, so the men have been serving jail terms of between three and 10 days, according to media reports.
The men all belong to a highly traditional Amish group called the Old Order Swartzentruber.
There's a Mel Brooks film in there somewhere.
By the way, the jail where the men have been serving using brightly colored uniforms for inmates... but the men were allowed to wear dark clothes so as not to violate the Old Order.
