Canseco played in the World Series four times: three with the Oakland A's, and once with the New York Yankees. He was on the winning side twice, and hit .357 with a .500 OBP in the 1989 World Series as the A's topped the San Francisco Giants.
But none of that is what Canseco will be remembered for most. Canseco was a devout believer in the power of steroids to make a better athlete -- regardless of the rules. In books, he documented his use of his drugs, as well as the players he introduced to them.
And he's been in trouble with the law a few times. He's been arrested in connection with domestic violence and bringing drugs over the border. This image appears to be related to a speeding incident in the early 1980s.
