When I met George, the world's tallest dog, the last thing I thought was that this Great Dane would turn out to be a scaredy cat.
But it turns out he's terrified... of little dogs.
George's owner, Dave Nasser, writes in the Daily Mail that he gets anxious and jittery around little dogs... perhaps because he's afraid of stepping on them.
He's also afraid of water.
Why knew?
"Slowly we realized that our enormous puppy was a big softie," Nasser writes.
George actually met the world's smallest dog last year, and both animals emerged unscathed.
As I told you when Guinness crowned George the Greatest of the Danes and the most massive of all mutts, this pooch is longer than most people are tall: He's seven feet from nose to tail, and 43 inches from paw to shoulder.
He's so big he sleeps in his own queen-sized bed... and can even sit in a chair like a human.
And boy can he eat: 110 pounds of dog food a month.
He's also got his own Web site, a Facebook fan club and Twitter account.
