'Hot Corpse' Sex Trial Pushes Forward
Three years ago, Nicholas Grunke, saw the picture of Laura Tennessen, a 20-year-old girl, in a newspaper, and it was love at first sight.
There was only one problem: He was reading an obituary.
Grunke (shown here), his brother Alexander and Dustin Radke allegedly decided that their love should know no bounds, and one Sept. evening they tried to dig up the young woman's corpse for some whoopee.
Though they never consummated their sexual desires, the Wisconsin legal saga and all the lurid details have made for compelling reading.
My favorite detail: One of the boys allegedly told police that they stopped at a Wal-Mart for condoms on the way to the Cassville cemetery to prevent sexually transmitted diseases.
This soap opera isn't going to end soon. This week, Alex Grunke's claimed through his attorney that the three were arrested illegally because the police didn't have probable cause.
I'm sure we'll unearth the truth, or another body, before we get a verdict.

Great breakfast story, Buck. Really gave my shredded wheat that appetizing zing!
This definitely qualifies as “weird news”. It’s weird on so many different levels.
