These chilled-out swimmers in Irish hats are participating in an annual Christmas leap in Barcelona.
The 2010 Christmas Swimming Cup was held at the Old Harbor of Barcelona on Dec. 25 -- part of a century-old tradition.
It began in 1908, and was suspended only three times: in 1936, 1937, and 1938, because of the Spanish Civil War.
The Christmas Cup involves swimming across 200 meters of open water in Barcelona harbor.
