Eric T. Ambrose was arrested outside a Fort Pierce, Fla., store. Officers said they noted that he appeared to be intoxicated and when they placed him in a patrol car, he shouted that, "he had served in the military over in Iraq so he could steal all the M&M's he wanted," according to a Police report.
Ambrose had been arrested ouside a Super 8 Motel a few weeks earlier for disorderly intoxication and causing a public disturbance.
In addition to the M&M's, Ambrose also allegedly shoplifted two black T-shirts, a beer, a package of chewing tobacco, two beef jerky packages, a bag of Circus Peanuts candy and two large Snickers candy bars.
