Salvador Dali's mustache was so iconic it got it's own book -- "Dali's Mustache," written by the surrealist painter.

"Since I don't smoke, I decided to grow a mustache," Dali said. "It is better for the health." Dali was known for carrying fake mustaches in a cigarette case... and he would offer them to people, the way one might offer a smoke.
