A strategically placed cardboard sign is all that kept San Francisco's Naked Clown from showing New York City the full "Greasepainted Monty."
This barely dressed Bozo had come to Times Square to promote the Naked Clown Calendar, a project by San Francisco's Clown Conservator to fight Multiple Sclerosis.
With New York's Naked Cowboy lending some support, the clown took to the streets, bumping into Howard Stern sidekick Artie Lange and former 'N Sync heartthrob Joey Fatone, along the way.
