Weird Olympic Sports: Roque

This sport is like croquet, the prime difference being the absence of the first and last letters.

According to Dr Ian Plummer, rogue may have been invented for Americans who refused to play an English game.

Roque was only played at the Olympics once, at the 1904 games in St. Louis. The United States won all three medals.

It was also the only country to participate.
