"He couldn't even stand. He was just, ahhh, you know – naked," neighbor Amanda Roesch told NBC2 News. "And I'm like, come in the house, baby and I went and got some of my son's clothes."
Police say the naked kid had a blood alcohol level of 0.108 - or well above the 0.08 that would be considered drunk driving... if the child was even old enough to drive.
When the boy's mother, 31-year-old Nedra Byrd, was found she was asked if she was drunk.
"Yeah. I'm drunk as hell," she told police, according to WTSP.com.
On hand was a half-empty bottle of Christian Brother's brandy, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.
Byrd has been arrested and charged with child neglect.
"This little boy he said all I want for my mommy is to go to rehab and to get anger management because mommy drinks to feel better cause she's mad," Roesch was quoted as saying.
