When a stunned security guard stumbled upon a naked contractor getting friendly with the hose end of a vacuum, the man offered a novel excuse: He said he was just "cleaning" his underpants.

The contractor was found at the administration offices of the Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital on his knees canoodling with the hose end of a Henry Hoover vacuum, according to Britain's Telegraph newspaper.

"That behavior is not acceptable, though it gave a few people a laugh," the man's employer, HG Construction, told the publication.

The Telegraph notes that the Henry Hoover model is described on Hoover website as "a powerful, reliable vacuum cleaner ready to go time and time again."
