Australia already set a world record at the London Summer Olympic Games -- but they're not going to get a medal for this one.Australians in the city gathered and all donned the same clothing -- the same "team kit," as it's known -- and then formed a giant G'DAY at Clapham Common in south London, setting a Guinness World Record for "most people in the same team kit."
Close to 1,000 people took part in the event -- which featured some poor planning by its organizer, Commonwealth Bank. The bank didn't plan for more than 1,000 people... so an estimated 2,000 people were turned away.
The new record almost doubles the old one, when 537 Polish volleyball fans gathered in team kits in 2007.
