New Year's Eve revelers may not have noticed, but there was a new addition to Times Square this holiday season... and it's a relic of the Old Times Square.Before it was sanitized by Disney productions, chain restaurants and high-priced tourist traps, the "Crossroads of the World" was know for its movie industry.
And not the kinds shot in Hollywood.
It was the Peep Show capital of the world, full of sex and porn and grimy little booths where people could catch a few sights that are now best enjoyed from the comfort of a computer screen.
Last month, the famous Peep-o-Rama sign was refurbished and moved to the Times Square Alliance's visitor's center, giving people a "peep" into the neighborhood's seedy past.
