Need a Phony Receipt? This Site Is At Your Service

By , About.com GuideAugust 31, 2010

Follow me on:

Phoney Receipt StoreI wouldn't suggest you cheat the IRS. That would be illegal. Besides, it would put me in a hire risk group to be audited.

And the company that sells fake receipts -- The Sales Receipt Store -- isn't actually advocating that you break the law.

To the contrary, this site claims its just hawking a novelty item.

Nevertheless, for $14.99, you can print out 15 receipts for just about anything you want.

You just download a template, choose the name of a make-believe store, a logo, fill out the product you want to pretend to purchase, the purchase price, etc.

No muss, no fuss.

Of course, you can also just pay your taxes, you cheap louse bastards. It's the law.

But it would be on regular paper, not receipt paper. That wouldn’t fool even the simplest of clerks .
