Just how large does the memory of Michael Jackson loom over America right now? The answer might lie in a California prison.
Jeffrey Salery, a 50-year-old inmate at John Latorraca Correctional Facility now faces battery charges for pummeling another inmate, who allegedly "disrespected" the King of Pop.
The other inmate, a 21-year-old, of course wasn't even alive when Thriller hit the charts. That man is now being treated at a Modest hospital. It's unclear what the man said, according to the Modesto Bee, but let's just agree it was too soon.
