When you play with someone else's spouse, you're playing with fire.
Even if your lover is on the verge of separating, estranged, almost-moved-out, it doesn't matter.
In Westchester, N.Y., Caroline Dewey slammed her 2004 Porsche into her estranged husband's girlfriend's 2009 Lexus as it was parked in her driveway. Then, the 62-year-old woman mixed it up with her 46-year-old romantic rival. It ended with her facing criminal contempt and harassment charges, not to mention a bloody nose.
I'm not saying Dewey was at all justified. I'm just saying when you date someone who's still married, you run the risk of pushing the cuckolded spouse over the line.
Dewey now enters the Weird Mug Shot Wall of Shame. I think many of us can sympathize with her motivation, but not her actions.
Joining Dewey is 48 year old Doreen DeTroye of Wisconsin. She was so upset one weekend last week, that she called police to ask her to driver her to "beat the crap" out of her estranged husband's girlfriend.
Police did pick up DeTroye, but only to book her. An officer described the woman as a "hugh functioning drunk" in the Sheboygan Press and she faces 90 days if convicted of telephone harassment.
