Carrie Prejean can now devote more time to how she thinks gay people should live and why her shirt seems to come undone at photo shoots.
The erstwhile Miss California USA has lost her crown. Pageant bigwig Donald Trump told my friends at TMZ: "To me she was the sweetest thing. Everyone else -- she treated like s**t."
Apparently, Prejean wasn't getting clearance to do all her extracurricular stuff and failed to turn up at as many as 30 appearances. Sources say the firing is based solely on what Trump considers breach of contract, not her stance against gay marriage or her topless photos.
The new Miss California USA will be Miss Malibu Tami Farrell.
TMZ is reporting that Prejean fired off a bunch of nasty emails to pageant officials. On May 29, she wrote: "You do not cooperate with me, and you pick and chose [sic] the the [sic] things YOU want me to do. That is not happening anymore. Stop speaking for me. I have MY own voice."
