I always thought Feb. 13 was Gary Coleman appreciation day. But the folks at LifeStyles Condoms have reminded me that it's Mistress Day -- the day where you pay attention to that forbidden love in your life, because you'll have to spend Valentine's Day with that cringe-worthy thing you accidentally married.
“It's the day that straying husbands and boyfriends set aside for the ‘other woman’," says LifeStyles V.P. Carol Carrozza.“At LifeStyles, we would like to remind those who chose to celebrate Mistress Day that there is more than one thing you should wrap up this weekend.”
I feel compelled to mention at this point that this is my first Mistress Day as a married man, and I won't be spending it with my wife. I'm in Disney World, after spending the previous day attending the premiere of Disney's American Idol Experience … at least that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
