Knight Rider GPS: Talk to Me, K.I.T.T.
I'm not one for getting drunk and eating hamburger off my kitchen floor, but I do harbor a David Hasselhoff fantasy -- and it involves having a souped-up talking Trans Am.
Now, the voice from K.I.T.T. the car from Knight Rider could be telling you where to go. Mio Technologies' technology has introduced a $260 GPS based on the Hoff's pre-Baywatch TV show, and it features William Daniels, the disembodied dashboard voice with an apparent psycho-sexual obsession over Michael Knight, "a lone crusader in a dangerous world."
The Knight Rider GPS is one of the top items on my Weird Gift Wish List, but of course you are also happy to buy me Hulk Smash Hands, Gourmet Bacon, or a Fish Tank Coffee Table.
