It didn't take long for Eliot Spitzer to go from crusading governor to walking punchline.

Already, the Internet is abuzz with Client 9 T-shirts and other "Love Gov" memorabilia.

For those of you on Mars, an FBI investigation into an international prostitution ring allegedly exposes Spitzer as "Client 9," and he publicly apologized Monday to his wife and family.

Among the best slogans now being hawked on T-shirts at CafePress.com:

• "Spitzer for President: The Unsafe Choice"
• "I wouldn't swallow for Spitzer"
• "I Was Client 8 and all I got was this lousy T-shirt."

Of course another shirt with his picture that reads "Pervert" might say it all. Still, if you consider that he prosecuted prostitutes while serving as New York's attorney general, "Hypocrite" might be best. Read more weird political news.
