High on Marijuana Education

California's medical marijuana industry has given rise to a new sort of higher education -- one that involves cultivating and cooking a substance that gets you high.

"My basic idea is to try to professionalize the industry and have it taken seriously as a real industry, just like beer and distilling hard alcohol," said Richard Lee, a pot-dispensary owner who founded Oaksterdam University.

Oaksterdam, founded last fall, is just a storefront operation, and so far, more than 60 students have completed the two-day, weekend course, with each class having its own valedictorian. Read More . . .
